SEC Picks,…. Week Two,….

SEC

auburn at Mississippi St,…. The SEC opener for both schools. Get ready to ring those cowbells Bulldog fans. Mississippi St 24 auburn 17

East Carolina at South Carolina,…. Gamecoks QB Conner Shaw probably needs to rest this game and let Marcus Lattimore carry SC to victory. South Carolina 31 East Carolina 13

Georgia St at Tennessee,….. The Vols get a practice game during the season. They will air it out a bit,… Tennessee 49 Georgia St 15

UTEP at Ole Miss,… Ole Miss hasn’t been 2-0 in what seems forever to Rebel fans,… They will be dancing in the streets in Oxford this week,… Ole Miss 28 UTEP 20

Washington at LSU,…. The battles are won in the trenches, the line of scrimmage. LSU has the better of the two on both sides of the ball. The game might be close but the Bengal Tigers will start wearing the Huskies down after the half,… LSU 35 Washington 14

Louisiana-Monroe at Arkansas,…. The Hogs can pick their score in this one as they prepare for Bama in a tune up game. Arkansas 54 Louisiana-Monroe 13

Kent State at Kentucky,…. If Joker Phillips wants to avoid the hotseat, this is a must win game. The Wildcats should prevail but there again, we are talking about Kentucky,… Kentucky 28 Kent State 14

Vandy at Northwestern,…. A chance for the Commodores to avenge last weeks loss. Vandy has improved and is ready for this challenge. Vandy 27 Northwestern 21

Florida at Texas A&M,…. While Florida has played a game and A&M was idle last week due to Hurricane Issac,… the Aggies are going to be hungry for their first ever SEC win to prove they belong. And playing at home,… I’ve got to go with the Aggies in a mild upset,… A&M 28 Florida 24

Georgia at Missouri,… Missouri, like A&M, are wanting to prove their worth in the SEC. The style of play the Dawgs play and winning the line of scrimmage will be the Tigers downfall. That and the arrogance I’ve seen displayed by Missouri fans and players. I hope Georgia stomps a mudhole in Missouri. Georgia 28 Missouri 21

Western Kentucky vs Alabama,…. WKU plays some good football. I don’t think they will be the push over everyone thinks they’ll be. Bama has to play better ball than they did last week in terms of mental mistakes, ie., penalties and the fumble. Bama 49 WKU 7
