The Greatest Touchdown Ever Scored,…

On a fourth and one call,… Coach Bo Pelini put in walk on 7 year old Jack Hoffman. A play had been drawn up especially for Jack. Jack was shown the play on the sidelines before going in. With the help from the red team, they blocked perfectly for young Jack as he scampered down the field for a 69 yard score as time ran out. Jack helped the red team to victory in a 30-21 spring game in Lincoln NE.

You see, Jack has been diagnosed with brain cancer. He has had two surgeries and now is going through a 60 week chemo regimen. The Nebraska Cornhuskers have adopted him so to speak. This is what college football is all about. I had to wipe my eyes a time or two,… this was a great, great thing to do.
