Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Shoals (BBBS) serves children in Colbert, Franklin and Lauderdale Counties who are in need of a role model relationship; this is done by matching the individual child with a one-on-one volunteer. A community based program, adult volunteers pick up the child at their home, involve them in their lives, and introduce them to activities that they might not otherwise experience. BBBS also has School Based Mentoring programs in Sheffield and Red Bay where adults and high school students are matched with “Littles” to develop mentoring friendships at school. Male volunteers are needed! Won’t you be a part of something “BIG” and volunteer today?
