1st Sgt Salsa,…. A Local Vet Could Use Your Help,…

1st Sgt

salsa

Salsa,… you like it, I like it, we all like it. Use it in chili, spaghetti, tacos, bean, eggs, dips… the list is nearly endless. You may have seen 1st Sgt Salsa available at the local stores and First Fridays. But did you know that the guy behind the idea is actually a 1st Sargent?  Mitch Scott Weatherly served our country with honor during conflicts such as Desert Storm, Rwanda, Bosnia, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) just to name a few. Now a local vet, a hero could use your help. 1st Sgt Weatherly could use a trailer to help with his business in promoting his salsa and jellies, that by the way, some of the proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Fund, American Cancer Society and others. This is a true mom and pop operation that like most, gives back. You can help his cause at 1st Sgt Salsa start up Kitchen which also tells his story of service and the salsa.

1st Sgt.Com has his items for sale. They include his jellies,..  Jalapeno, Ghost Pepper and Habanero style along with mild, medium/hot and very hot versions of salsa. I wish I could do the hotter versions but this old stomach won’t let me much anymore. So it is mild for me,…. You can order online at his site if you cannot find it in stores.
