Beau Predicts Early Spring,….

General Beauregard Lee, emerged from his “Weathering Heights” lair at Gwinnett County’s Yellow River Game Ranch just after daybreak Monday to find no shadow. The General from Lilburn Georgia, not seeing his shadow predicts an early Spring for the South.

Pennsylvanians weren’t so lucky, as Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Gobbler’s Knob northeast of Pittsburgh, meaning, according to a German legend, that winter will last another six weeks.

Most Southerners go by what the General predicts and with the buttercups poking through and blooming even,… I’ll go with General Lee,….
