The ARC Is In Danger,….

smalllogo

ARC is in danger! .... **PLEASE HELP** ... **Please share**
Through out the state the ARC is in danger of losing their funding because of budget cuts. These cuts will mean the services at Hope Haven, group homes, and personal care, will be SEVERELY cut, or COMPLETELY LOST!

If Hope Haven closes we (parents and caregivers) are in fear of losing our children. Not physically, but mentally, and emotionally. Our children are very likely to regress and lose the skills they have worked so hard to master. They lose their reason for getting up in the morning. They lose what gives them joy and purpose.
AT HH they learn life skills, they show pride in what they learn and do....things that so many of us take for granted. Please, don't let this be taken from them! Contact you local state senators and representatives and let them know how much we need the ARC adult training centers in this area!

Clicking on these links will take you to pages that have the representative and senator contact information.
You have until April 27th to make your voice heard and to save our much needed ARC services.

People on here that know me, or know of me, and my son Brandon, know he has been attending Hope Haven since 2004 and it is his life...his reason for getting up every morning.

I shared the above from a mother, a family who has been there and is still there dealing with an autistic adult. These programs are much needed. Let your voice be heard in Montgomery. Click on those links, share them and encourage others to do the same. Thank you, OB.
