People are sad man,… just sad. We get offended by the most minute of things. My son just told me that he had been reprimanded by a customer at the mall a few years ago because he didn’t say Merry Christmas. He said Happy Holidays. This isn’t a very Christian way for someone to act is it? I mean, this lady was obviously supposed to be a Christian judging from the way she got upset. The Bible says “be angry and sin not”, Ephesians 4:26. As a Christian one is to set an example. Well this woman sure set that example. One of a hypocrite.
People, it matters not how we say it. Whether it be “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays”. When I say Happy Holidays I’m including all of them,… Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year. People need to STOP trying to be politically correct and STOP trying to force feed their religion on others. Doing so makes you one step lower than the Islamic terrorists. The only difference is the Christians haven’t killed in the name of Jesus. They just continue to celebrate Christ's birthday without the Bible giving instruction on how to do so. That’s right, the Bible does not say anywhere that we are to celebrate Christ’s birth. More so we are directed to look at his death, burial and resurrection.
Have a good day,…. Happy Holidays,…. Merry Christmas,… Merry Xmas,…. and Happy freakin New Year. This blog post will not be open for discussion.
And another thing,… be mindful of those that are working retail. They put in long hours and have to deal with you, the public. Be nice. The world does not revolve around you.
