Thank You Shoals Area,…

I realize that Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas is upon us. With the new year just after that, for me it is a time to reflect and be thankful. Not only from the community standpoint but also the work in which we do.

The Shoals Area,… a great place to live and work and even though it isn’t perfect, no other place is either. We have some of the best mom and pop stores and restaurants in the state. Complete with quality folks owning and working at these establishments. Downtown Florence is very active, Tuscumbia’s downtown seems to be doing well and Sheffield is breathing life again.  Work, dedication and support from the local communities is paying off for those cities.

Chris’ Painting has been very blessed this year with new customers as well as customers we have served in the past. This blog has actually helped in being able to work for a few people which is super. Mitch Wade being one of them. A great guy to know and just really down to earth. A pleasure to work for. As are the Ray family. From Mr and Mrs Ray to their sons, Mark and Tim Ray and their families. Super folks. And for a first time, we worked for a 3rd generation of that family. Just some of the nicest people you want to be around. Also Lil Steve’s stores,… I blogged them early on when this thing first started. I had the pleasure of working for Steve Jr and it was just a fun experience. Belle Mont Mansion and Mapleton were two challenges for sure. But the owners seemed happy. Belle Mont does need some federal assistance and I hope they get it. Great place.

Last but not least, thank you, the reader for clicking here and reading my drivel. Never in my wildest imagination would I have thought this thing would be nearing 400k page views. My hopes for you and yours is a very Merry Christmas and a great 2016. Thank you!!
