SEC Picks,…. Week 8

Well this season is moving right along and moving ever closer to a playoff system that will need adjusting. Anytime,… anytime you have the human element involved,  you will have problems. Mark my word,… they will be tweaking this format after this year.

Missouri @ Florida,… This just in,… From the Gators OC Kurt Roper admits a few offensive players can't line up without QB Jeff Driskel's help, which could be an issue with Harris in. Florida has problems. I don’t think homefield advantage helps them. Muschamp might need to be filling out job applications. Missouri 24 Florida 21

Georgia @ Arkansas,… This could be a close game but I think Georgia has more success running the ball on Arky than Alabama did. In the end the Dawgs win a closer game than most think,… Georgia 31 Arky 21

Kentucky @ LSU,….  If,… and it is a big if,… the Wildcats can stop the run game of LSU up the middle,… they win. And win in Tiger Stadium. I think they do it. Kentucky 31 LSU 28

Furman @ South Carolina,…. The Gamecocks play auburn next week. If they get caught looking ahead to that game,… lookout. Furman might score a couple of times. South Carolina in a closer than expected game,… 42-17

Tennessee @ Mississippi,…. Folks, those Mississippi teams are for real. The Vols are improving however but these Rebels are comfortable at home. Hotty Toddy!! Ole Miss 28 Tennessee 14

Texas A&M @ Alabama,…. The Tide looked unorganized, lost and looked like they were once again coached by Mike Shula last week. Judging by Coach Saban’s comments during the week,… that won’t change anytime soon. Homefield advantage won’t mean a thing this week as A&M will make Bama pay via the pass. Texas A&M 31 Alabama 17 I do hope I’m wrong.
