Michigan St vs Alabama,… Cotton Bowl Prediction,….
For those of you that have read my predictions before, you know that I believe games are won in the trenches. The offensive and defensive lines dictate what you do. You either block for your quarterback to be able to throw, open up holes for the backs to make yardage or you plug those holes on defense while pressuring the quarterback.
Matching Sparty’s offensive line with Bama’s defensive line will be a major key to any kind of success MSU wants to have. They must protect their quarterback and give him time to throw. If the Spartans are to win this game. They must control the line of scrimmage. It will be a tall task.
Looking at Bama’s offensive line versus the Spartans D line,… same thing applies To have success running and throwing, the Tide will have to do its job against the line and a very good linebacking group. I don’t see this as being as tall a task as the MSU offensive line has.
While Conner Cook looks like the better quarterback as compared to Jake Coker,… I’ll take Coker.
If the Spartans are to win this game, their O line and Cook will have to have their best game of the season. Much respect to MSU but I don’t thing they can hang all game long with Bama. Tide wins this one to advance 28-13,… Roll Tide!!
